Summary:
Cosmic PANIC is my first self-published game under the studio name Sumoshell Bombfunk, developed with Artist & Animator Kyle Graham. The game features 12 playable arcade style games, each featuring enough depth to stand on their own. Over the years, Kyle and I wanted to polish and publish refined versions of some of our favorite prototypes from Game Jams we did, and Cosmic PANIC is the stylized result with even more content to support greater replayability and enjoyment.

Summary:
KOTA is a personal passion project born from my love of RPGs and wanting to develop in 3D. KOTA's game mechanics are particularly inspired by MMORPGs such as Everquest, FFXIV and ESO. The game is entirely developed in Unity3d by me with assets acquired through the Unity Asset Store.

Summary:
This is a yet untitled collaboration in the works with The Serfs. Gameplay features classic 'Beat 'em Up' style mechanics similar to Scott Pilgrim vs The World, and Turtles In Time, but with a robust revolution in unique character fighting kits. This game is meant to be played with a team of 3 for synergistic challenges.

Summary:
2020 was a heck of year! I partnered with The Serfs to develop two simple games to raise awareness to funding for Bernie Sanders Presidential Campaign and for Covid Relief Funding.
Serfing Past Covid plays like 'Flappy Bird', but ties in comedic references to all the first-world problems at the start of the pandemic. It was published by Solsoft on the Google Play Store and later removed by Google due to it's references to Covid without it being a medical app.
Berdie Sanders plays similarly and is currently only hosted as a playable game in HTML5.

Summary:
Abyssal Zone was a 2-man indie project that we demo'd at Rose City Comic Con. It plays in 2.5D and makes use of SPINE for fluid 2D animation blending. Concept for gameplay is similar to Mega Man crossed with Metroid Vania. Unfortunately life leads us through unexpected paths, and this project had to stop short before release.

Summary:
Over the course of this year, I teamed up with various artists and hosted a Twitch stream every Friday night to explore art and games. We designed and developed a handful of mini games in GameJam-like fashion. Some were developed in Game Maker Studio 2.0 and some in Unity3D with C# as I made the transition to a new platform. (Blob Punch, Wandering Space Sumo, Pixelnary...)

Summary:
This was a 2-man indie project where we limited ourselves to ONLY the beta release of the Game Maker Studio 2.0 software --> for all art, animation, and code. The GameJam had a time limit of 2 weeks, and we produced a unique top-down multiplayer "tag in space" couch party game that received awards for best in top 9 games out of 70+ submissions to the game jam.

Summary:
